Weekend for families
YOUNG GEOLOGISTS DISCOVERING VALDOSSOLA’S GLACIER PARK
Guided tour to discover the amenities of Valle Antigorio: canyons, crags, unique minerals! With a slow pace and curious eyes we will discover what happened back in the day when our whole valley was covered by glaciers.
Day 2
CULTURE, ART AND NATURE IN VALLE ANTIGORIO
In Baceno we will visit San Gaudenzio’s church, a national monument, widely considered one of the most beautiful churches of the Alps. From Baceno we’ll move to Croveo, to visit the caldaie del diavolo (Devil’s Furnaces), the ancient press machine and Croveo’s museum, famous for its witch traditions. In the afternoon we’ll make cheese together and we’ll walk back to Baceno.
DISCOVERY TREASURE HUNT

Day 2
THE MYSTERIOUS MENHIRS IN THE OLD VILLAGE OF MONTECRESTESE
We move to Montecrestese where we’ll find mysterious menhirs, dolmens, underground chambers and temples in an ancient setting of stone houses, forests and vineyards.

Day 2
FARMER FOR A DAY
It is possible to join us in our daily farmer life. Depending on the time of the year you’ll have the opportunity to milk a goat or a cow, harvest hay, collect dry leaves for our animals’ shelters, work in our vegetable garden or pick fruits in our orchard, join in the transhumance or make cheese. We will organize these activities together based on your interests, and depending on the weather conditions…you cannot command nature!
