Croveo, a hamlet of Baceno at 800 metres above sea level, you can find the small dairy where time has stopped when the inhabitants of the village used to give their cows’ milk and in exchange they received cheese.
On the occasion of the Witches’ Festival in July and Craf in Crof in November we revive it by making cheese in the copper pot in the big fireplace just like in the old days. Aren’t you curious to see how cheese is made?
